Our client is seeking a talented and innovative Head Baker to join their culinary and pastry team. The Head Baker will be responsible for creating exceptional baked goods for their breakfast buffets, harvest tables, dinner services, and room turndowns. This role requires a commitment to quality, hygiene, and creativity in baking, along with the ability to work independently during night shifts and train aspiring bakers.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop, create, and execute quality recipes for a variety of baked goods, including breads, cakes, pastries, and more.
- Ensure the presentation of all baked items is enhanced with icing, glazes, fillings, and decorations.
- Maintain profitability by accurately recording baking operations and managing inventory levels.
- Order supplies in collaboration with the executive chef.
- Measure, mix, and shape ingredients using various baking tools and equipment.
- Monitor baking times and temperatures for optimal product quality.
- Ensure the freshness and quality of products through regular checks.
- Maintain a clean, sanitary work area in compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
- Plan baking schedules to minimize waste and ensure timely completion of items for service.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a baker or pastry chef in a bakery, restaurant, or similar setting.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, recipes, and equipment.
- Ability to work with various baking ingredients.
- Excellent time management and ability to work under pressure.
- Creativity and attention to detail in product presentation.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods.
- Food safety certification or training is a plus.
