**Legal Recovery Specialist**:
A position have become vacant for a Legal Recovery Specialist, based at the Helderkruin/Midrand office.

The main responsibility is to assist the Group Legal and Debtor Manager with recoveries of overdue accounts.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Assist with recovery process.
- Monitor Staff performance, continually seeking ways to improve team delivery for optimized financial benefit.
- Do weekly/monthly recovery reports.
- Liaise with Credit Controllers/Credit Managers/FM’s regarding recoveries.
- Investigate & resolve client queries that have a negative impact on payments;
- Assist to bring down company DSO’s;
- Establish goals and targets recoveries;
- Meeting with clients;
- Attend credit meetings;
- Delegate functions to staff to meet key productivity targets;
- Training of staff;
- Meet all deadlines set;
- Provide personal assistance to Group Legal and Debtor Manager on a day to day basis;
- Assist with implementation and ongoing support regarding new processes and procedures to enhance recovery process;
- Investigate and locate missing client or financial information that's essential for the recovery process.

**Qualifications, experience, and other competencies required**:

- Grade 12/Matric Certificate.
- Recovery/Legal diploma/degree will be advantageous.
- Experience with legal recovery process is essential.
- Must have at least 10 years management experience within a corporate credit/debit department.
- Above average computer literacy in SAP, MS Office suite.
- Corporate/Executive support, reporting and support and experience will be advantageous.
- Accounting experience.
- Valid and unendorsed motor vehicle driver’s license.
- Own vehicle and ability to travel, as and when required.
- Administration, interpersonal communication, and customer liaison skills are required.
- Clear criminal record and no pending cases.
