An exciting opportunity exists for an Inventory Controller at Irvin & Johnson Paarden Eiland (Auckland Cold Stores)

The **Inventory Controller** will be responsible for effective and efficient control of all stocks warehoused (saleable and non-saleable) at the ACS Distribution Centre. To identify potential gains or losses at the ACS Distribution Centre on a daily basis.

**Job Specification**:
**Key Performance Areas**:

- Co-ordinating the Monthly and Daily stock counts at ACS. Stock loss to be controlled and maintained at 0.001% of the stock holding.
- Compiling of monthly DC stock loss report.
- Compiling of weekly age reports. Ensuring stocks are accurately and timeously written off.
- Manage verification of pallets received. Not sure if this is practical on your site, we currently receive and place on the rollers for immediate put away. Controller would not have the option of counting the number of pallets per load if he is not there every time a truck is received.
- Investigate physical and theoretical stock discrepancy timeously and identify possible reasons and solutions to stock discrepancies.
- Efficiently manage users, operational and administration functions of SAP on a daily basis and limiting down time.
- Manage the RF users to ensure that logins are correct and rectified with very minimum down time.
- Manage the RF scanning units, ensuring scanning equipment is serviced and repaired on time.
- Short picking of stocks investigated and rectified
- clearing of the 999 location daily.
- Labeling the racks with rack numbers and bar codes.
- Ensure all damages are written off and thereafter sold/destroyed.
- Manage the transfer of stocks from the available location to the unavailable location and when repacked from the unavailable location to the available location (SLOC 9000).
- Nature of damages recorded analyzed and trended.
- Minimum damages in the pick area.
- Access all damages for repacking as per QMS procedure, where possible repack, otherwise sell/destroy.
- All returns to be cleared daily from the Debrief area.
- Balance physical stocks with system processed documents.
- Stocks moved into the warehouse via a RF scanner is in good condition and available for resale.
- A blind tally method is always adhered too.
- Ensure vacuum system is adhered to at all times.
- All put always, take outs and had hoc moves are completed regularly and timeously.
- Stocks are accurately placed into the correct locations
- Receiving area floor cleared on a daily basis.
- Reach Truck drivers adhere to the correct put away process.
- Ensure put away stocks are in correct bin location for picking and replenishing tasks.
- Night Shift stock auditing process.
- Stock auditing method of a Blind count needs to be strictly adhered to.

**Minimum Requirements**:
**Experience**:

- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in FMCG distribution environment
- Compulsory SAP Warehouse skills or equivalent

**Qualifications**:
Matric
Degree or Diploma in Warehouse Management/ Supply Chain/ Distribution (advantageous)

**Knowledge**:
