**Synopsis**: Join a prestigious luxury travel brand as a Sales and Marketing Executive. We are looking for a dynamic, experienced professional to drive sales and marketing efforts for our clients 5-star lodge and luxury houseboat in Zambia and Zimbabwe. This role is based in Pietermaritzburg and offers exciting opportunities for career growth and travel.

**Based**: Pietermaritzburg
**Reports to**: Operations Director
**Key Responsibilities**:1. Sales and Business Development**:
- Identify and target potential corporate clients to generate new business opportunities.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
- Foster relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and loyalty.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
**2. Marketing and Brand Promotion**:
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote the lodge’s unique offerings and services.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to produce high-quality promotional materials.
**3. Networking and Relationship Building**:
- Attend trade shows, networking events, and industry conferences to represent the lodge and build professional relationships.
- Actively engage with travel agents, tour operators, and other key stakeholders in the luxury travel sector.
- Organize and host familiarization trips for travel agents and corporate clients to showcase the lodge.
**4. Market Research and Analysis**:
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and the competitive landscape.
- Analyze sales and marketing data to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and initiatives.
- Provide regular reports and insights to the management team to inform strategic decisions.
**5. Customer Service**:
- Ensure exceptional customer service standards are maintained throughout the sales process.
- Address client inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
- Collect and analyze customer feedback to continuously improve services and guest experiences.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and marketing.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong network of contacts within the luxury travel and tourism industry.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel frequently for trade shows, events, and client meetings.
