As a Sales Graduate, you will play a vital role in contributing to the sales efforts by engaging with clients, understanding their needs and promoting our products within the manufacturing sector. **Responsibilities**
**Client Engagement**
- Initiate contact with potential clients and establish rapport to understand their requirements
- Actively listen to the clients’ needs and concerns and provide tailored solutions based on product offerings
- Maintain a proactive approach to nurturing existing client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business
**Product Knowledge**
- Stay updated on industry trends, market competition and emerging technologies to effectively communicate product advantages to clients
**Sales Strategy**
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement effective sales strategies that align with company goals and targets
- Participate in sales meetings to discuss potential leads, strategies and progress toward sales objectives
**Lead Generation**
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through various channels, including networking events, trade shows and referrals.
- Convert leads into viable prospects by presenting our products’ value propositions and addressing client enquiries
**Sales Documentation and Reporting**
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, proposals and sales activities
- Prepare regular sales reports and updates for management, highlighting achievements, challenges and recommendations
**Collaboration**
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, production and customer service to ensure seamless communication and efficient order fulfilment
**Professional development**
- Participate in training sessions, workshops and skills enhancement programmes to continually improve sales techniques and product knowledge
**Education**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing or related field (NQF 7).
**Experience**
- Previous experience or internship in sales, manufacturing or related industries advantageous
- Required to travel to customer sites, 3 days per week
**Skills**
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Energetic, proactive and results-driven attitude
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving environment
