TVO Graduate

The TVO Graduate is responsible for rolling out and tracking TVO actions in all Forvia South Africa sites.
Essential responsibilities and duties
As a TVO (Total Value Optimisation) Graduate, your main responsibilities are as follows:

1. Assist in contributing to the identification and implementation of productivity actions (product/process) for cost reduction, in close coordination with Purchasing / Sales / Engineering and the plant.
2. Assist in monitoring TVO performance through cross-functional teamwork in the plants under his/her responsibility (i.e. TVO committees).
3. Assist in setting up and following TVO workshops in all plants and suppliers where necessary.
4. Assist in creating business cases for TVO actions with Purchasing / Sales and Controlling teams.
5. Ensure that the weekly/monthly TVO reporting is updated and any deviations escalated timeously.

The ideal candidate will have/be:

• Education: National Diploma or bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Industrial), Supply Chain or a Business-related qualification.
• Good computer skills (Excel / PowerPoint).
• Limited experience required.
• Knowledge of productivity / lean management methodology.
• Knowledge of production, quality, and logistics.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of products and technology.
• Languages: Ability to speak, write and read the English language.
