Our client, based in Linbro Park has a vacancy for a full-time in-office position:
**Overall purpose of position**:To manage the office staff, administration, customers and warehouse of the company, and support the marketing operations.
**KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS**:
**Administration**
- **Suppliers**_
- Overlook Requests and compare supplier quotations
- Overlook/look into rates/services of existing pricing of courier services/truckers
- Control stationery and supplies
- **Clients**_
- Handle client queries regarding deliveries/invoices/enquiries,
- Ensure effective E-mail and telephonic communication
- To support sales ie checking on clients that have not ordered for a while and find new sales leads
- Telesales
**General Office Duties**
- Maintenance/services of company vehicles and forklifts
- Control of dispatch of online orders. Same day or next day
- Supervising the filing system and ensure efficient filing, including container files
- Supervising the weekly foodlist and special
- Creating Totstock
- Supervising Mobisales
- Stockval - ensure PDX and Pastel balance
- Supervising Planning of drivers daily - Collections and deliveries
- Processing of containers
- Supervising warehouse and casuals
- Placing of overseas orders/order containers
- Supervise food labels
- Article images/new files/problems etc related to website
- Collect monies from clients
- Account Queries
- Commissions
- Leave records Staff
- Any other duties that may to be performed from time to time
**Business Support**
- **Marketing**_
- Support Sales and Marketing in preparation of sales and marketing material,
- **Customer Care**_
- Entertain written and verbal information requests of customers and consumers re. merchandise
- Collect and send requested information to customers, e.g. product manuals.
Essential Educational/Experiential Requirements
- Matric or equivalent, previous administrative, office based experience
- Very command of the English language, good communication skills
Preferred Educational/Experiential Requirements
Essential Competency Requirements
- Analytical mind, good Numeracy and Literacy, Attention to detail, Ability to follow procedures. Flexible thinking.
Preferred Competency Requirements
- Understanding and enthusiasm of respective merchandise
