HR Business Partner

An established company based in KZN is wishing to appoint an HR Business Partner. The main area of responsibility is to ensure that the planning, implementation, managing, developing and running of all HR activities and processes are implemented effectively and in line with Group and Divisional guidelines and in compliance with applicable Local legislation and best practices.
**RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES**
**Recruitment and Induction**
- Development of Job Profiles and Specifications.
- Create requisitions on HRIS recruitment system.
- Monitor recruitment requisitions and guide the full cycle recruitment process for nominated roles and facilitating communication with the resourcing department on vacancies and placement gaps.
- Coordinate resources for assessment centres and participate in interview and other activities appropriate.
- Ensures all new employees are taken through a full induction and onboarding process.
**Administration and Reporting**
- Completes all letters, contracts, benefits documentation in an accurate and timely manner.
- Ensure data integrity on all relevant systems.
- Audit, track and update headcount, organisational structures continuously on the HRIS System, and Payroll system
- Audits employee benefits and ensures that payroll is implementing the relevant deductions.
- Provides regular and thorough HR reporting back to the Head of HR and the Business area managers as required.
- Addresses all payroll issues in a timely manner.
- Updates the HR systems with all relevant information.
- Updates headcount and attrition reports and maintains an accurate staff list at all times.
- WSP, ATR, EE and all legislative reporting.
- Payroll capturing and management and month end reporting.
**Industrial and Employee Relations**
- Advises on, and implements disciplinary processes as required and in accordance with legislation and company policy.
- Supports and ensures preparedness of line management in disciplinary matters.
- Documents and minutes the results of all disciplinary hearings.
**Performance and Talent Management**
- Advises and ensures implementation of performance management for all permanent and contract employees.
- Rolls out HR initiatives as required for Group HR.
- Continuous alignment of job requirements with legislative parameters in mind to best support operation.
Employee Well-being
- Informs line managers in respect of advisory services available to employees.
- Co-ordinates wellness day activities.
- Recognises new trends and patterns of behaviour and alerts management.
**Business Improvement**
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement within the HR team, focusing on bringing best practice techniques to the operation by keeping up to date with current market information and Human Resource trends.
**PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE**
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources
- 8+ years of experience in Human Resources
- Experience in working with a Global Organisation
- System experience in MS office, SAP Success Factors/ GPS, VIP
- Experience working in a unionised environment and with the MEIBC.
- Experience managing projects that may be cross-functional and cross divisional
- Ability to communicate and work collaboratively across the organisation.
