To providepersonal administrative support and assistance to the Group Human ResourcesExecutive and Divisional Heads within the Human Resources Department (HRD) ofthe South African Reserve Bank (SARB).

Detailed Description
- To manage and maintain theGroup Human Resources Executive and Divisional Heads’ diaries includinglogístical arrangements for appointments, team events and travel in liaison with relevant personnel.
- To receive, screen andrespond to incoming telephone calls using own initiative and where appropriatedeal with queries and/or route calls to appropriate people.
- To prepare and editcorrespondence, communication, presentations and other documents, conductingbasic research and analysis where necessary for this purpose.
- To collate and co-ordinateproject-based and other information on behalf of the Group Human ResourcesExecutive and Divisional Heads.
- To review operatingpractices in own area and implement improvements where necessary.
- To maintain positiveinternal and external relationships on behalf of the Group Human ResourcesExecutive and Divisional Heads, engaging with members and stakeholders at alllevels of seniority.
- To create and maintain acontact database for the Group Human Resources Executive and Divisional Heads’offices as well as a filing system in accordance with the File Plan of the Bank.
- To perform day-to-day dutiesin an ethical manner that involves maintaining absolute confidentiality in allmatters related to the Group Human Resources Executive and Divisional Heads’office.
- To execute any other tasksas instructed by the Group Human Resources Executive and Divisional Heads, asand when required.
- To provide information forand prepare management information reports.

Job Requirements
- A Grade 12 plusSecretarial Diploma
- A minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in corporatepersonal assistance or equivalent

Additional requirements include:

- interpersonal skills;
- working knowledge of MicrosoftOffice (i.e. Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and other related software packages;
- time management;
- planning and organising
- problem solving;
- ability to work under pressure:

- ability to work independently;
- attention to detail; and
- organisational awareness.
