Power Platform Specialist

Responsible for supporting the development of new solutions and products on Microsoft's latest version of Power

Platform. You will need to have experience with Governance Model implementation, as well as understanding how

to implement new features into existing projects. Deliver services and solutions for as part of the Team using the

suite of Microsoft PowerApps, Power Automate, SharePoint, Dynamics 365, Microsoft Teams, and data integrations

on the platform.

**Key Responsibility Areas
- Leads development test and platform management, translating customer, business and technical requirements

into components of a service
- Identify critical design areas, parameters and opportunity areas early in the development process and those that

need improvement downstream
- Stay ahead of the curve on leading practice platform technologies and incorporate research into solution design

and deployment processes
- Develop lasting, innovative, simple platforms (including architecture when appropriate) to satisfy business and

customer requirements and align with the long-term plan for the platform and broader technology objectives
- Responsibilities also include building solutions for Monitoring and Evaluation projects using Power Platform, root

cause analysis, management communication, and client relationship management in partnership with

Infrastructure Service Support and Operations team members.
- Develop technical training materials and conduct training programs and educate engineers on basic technical

details.

**Qualifications and Experience**

**Minimum**: 3-year Diploma / Degree in IT OR a relevant discipline / NQF level 6. Microsoft Certified: Power Platform

Developer Associate.

**Experience**: 3 -5 Years' experience with Power Platform tools or equivalent low code development tools.

**Technical Competencies Description
**Knowledge of**: Microsoft Power Platform. Analysis, design development, testing and implementation of enterprise

scale apps. Developing new PowerApps model and canvas driven apps as well as enhancing existing apps.

Understanding PowerApps formulas and development methods. Flow licensing and automating.

**Interpersonal/behavioural competencies**: Active listening; Attention to Detail; Analytical thinking; Continuous

Learning.
