**Purpose**:
Sales Management: Successfully leading the sales team by implementing a strategic plan, providing structure, day to day leadership, and creating a high-performance culture.

Business Development: Growing sales revenue and profitability (value & volume), market penetration, and market share in the defined geographic area.

**Job Objectives**:
Manage internal and external sales rep teams
- Identify target key accounts for external Sales reps
- Manage account splits and set clear targets by account for reps
- Create account plan and strategy with external reps for each key account
- Visit and develop a relationship with key branch clients
- Monthly implementation of key account strategy and plans with reps
Manage the day to day running of the Durban and Pietermaritzburg sales branch
- Assisting internal sales staff by providing guidance, feedback and direction
- Deal with supplier and customer issues at a high level
- Work closely with operations to ensure we hold correct stock, at right price and dispatch efficiently to meet customer expectations
Develop strong relationships with existing suppliers to negotiate best pricing, terms and service delivery
Manage techno-commercial discussions involving project development, bid clarifications, positioning of product/features, contract and other relevant sales functions. In doing so, improve the turnaround times and conversion rates of projects.
Analyse branch performance on brands/customers and identify and execute on key opportunities for growth
- Monthly reporting to Management on strategy, performance, plans and progress
- Monthly submission of projections, project pipelines and any other reports requested on time and in full
Ensure implementation of processes and adherence to Standard operating procedures
Develop collaborative working relationship between sales and projects divisions
Work with suppliers and Marketing to deliver support plans for the financial year.
