Sales Representative

The Sales Representative will be required to visit existing and prospective customers with the goal to actively seek out and securing new business, as well as maintaining relationships with precious customers and acting as intermediary between company and client. This position will take responsibility to be the Company’s ambassador, presenting its products and services to generate sales.
**Please note that this position will be placed in the Paarl.**
- **Duties & Responsibilities**_
Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with current customers and prospective customers.
Regular visits to new and existing clients.
Identifying and recruiting of new customers.
Responsible for expansion of client base.
Supplying management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive
activities, and potential for new products and services.
Participation at marketing events such as trade shows, conventions and customer days.
Developing clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers.
Cost calculations of all products on sale.
Assist with customer quote enquiries.
Follow up on progress of quotes sent to customers.
Process accepted quotes into jobs.
Communicate and manage sales to the factory.
Communicate progress of jobs and expected delivery date to customers.
Visit customers regularly and make the necessary contact to ensure that they are satisfied with the trailers sold to them.
Updated and formed clients of all Afrit Products.
Solving problems and complaints received from customers.
Give adherence to any ad-hoc task given by the Sales Manager.
- **Desired Experience & Qualification**_
Matric (essential)
Driver’s License.
Clear Criminal Record.
Clear ITC record.
Technical skills, knowledge and experience in the automotive industry.
Knowledge of trailers (beneficial)
Proven track record in achieving sales targets
Extensive sales experience.
Intuitive and insightful, particularly regarding human behavior.
Ability to generate revenue by identifying pain points and suggesting suitable products or services.
Professional yet affable disposition.
Neat, well-groomed appearance.
Great networking skills.
Resourceful, with outstanding research skills.
Emboldened by challenges.
Excellent knowledge of MS Office
