An innovative leader in the manufacturing sector has an opportunity for an experienced Mechanical/Electrical/Electromechanical Engineer, skilled in the demands of the FMCG/manufacturing environment, on their robust Production team. **TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Managing of Factory Staff at all levels to ensure high levels of performance and motivation.
- Ensure proper machine and plant maintenance is done and recorded.
- Training up of Team Leader to run the daily Production and ensure a quality focus on the floor
- Achieve or exceed Machine efficiencies of < 85% in a sustainable way
- Identification and achievement of measurable technical and process developments and improvements.
- Installation and commissioning of new machines and downstream processes
- Write and manage the budget for the plant including the control of consumable costs.
- Ensure critical spares are in stock and managed effectively.
- Partnering with SHEQ to ensure the correct standards in accordance with ISO quality system are maintained.
- Ensuring engineering excellence in your Plant
- Ensuring a safe working environment by ensuring Safety Best practices.
- Ensuring housekeeping and PPE standards are excellent, at all times.

**DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS**
- **Engineering Degree (BSc or BEng will be given preference)**:

- **3 - 5 years Management** experience in a **Manufacturing environment**, preferably packaging or FMCG related
- Experience in a fast-paced, continuous production environment advantageous
- An understanding of Blow Moulding, Plastics or Packaging/Labelling would be highly advantageous

**REMUNERATION**

R90-110 000 + Benefits and Performance Based Annual Bonus
