**Job Purpose**:
The role is responsible for managing all projects from inception to completion within the Human Capital Division. The purpose of this role is to plan, execute, manage and finalise scoped HR projects and programs according to deadlines, quality and within set budget by utilising project management methodologies and practices. This includes leveraging resources optimally and coordinating the efforts of team members across the entire business unit landscape, third party contractors or consultants while leveraging technology (in collaboration with ITS) to deliver according to plan.
**Principal Accountabilities**:
- Ensure the HR strategy is implemented and integrated within areas of responsibility
- Manage end-to-end projects within the Human Capital Division
- Conduct research, analysis and benchmarking exercises as needed
- Compile and manage the project budget
- Identify, track, and report on risks related to project financials
- Ensure that the programme/ projects produces the required deliverables at the required standard of quality within the constraints of time, cost and quality to achieve project deliverables
- Optimise technology to enhance internal and external customer expectations
- Runs complex project/programs from design and development to implementation/production
- Plan and schedule program and project deliverables, goals and milestones
- Liaise with project stakeholders on a ongoing basis
- Develop and deliver progress reports, required documentation and presentations
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises and devise contingency plans
- Actively track progress against business and/or project plans and manage any risks
- Share project metrics with key internal and external stakeholders to drive delivery of the project; provide regular feedback to HR stakeholders and escalate/ expedite issues for resolution
- Complete post implementation reviews of projects and ensure lessons learned are used to improve the management of future projects
- Ensure regular and timeous reporting of information and delivery of reports to regulatory bodies
- Ensure that audit findings are addressed and minimized through appropriate corrective actions
- Maintain a repository of project history, project/process metrics, reports, deliverables, key lessons learned and reusable components
- Manage scope and change management by acting as a focal point for change requests and defining the process for defining and documenting the need for change in a project
- Establish the mechanisms to verify that each project team member reviews and understands the Project Charter
**Qualifications & Experience**:
- A relevant Bachelor’s degree at NQF level 7 with 3 - 5 years’ experience in Project Management OR 5 - 7 years experience in Project Management
- Project Management Qualification
- Experience in Human Resources projects will be an advantage
- Experience in coordinating and/or supporting business/ technology business processes
- At least 3 years experience in a Project Management environment
- A track record of successful project management, including projects with a high degree of complexity using leading methodologies and processes
**Knowledge and Skills**:
- At least 1 of the following project management/ related methodologies or standards Prince 2, PMBOK, MPMM, Sig Sigma, ISO standards (ISO 9000, etc.) and Agile Methodologies
- Knowledge of HR processes and procedure
