Field Solutions Specialist

**Site Visits & Assessment**:
Regularly visit installation sites to assess current operations, identify inefficiencies, and gather data to inform decision-making.

Create and implement strategies that drive adoption and engagement.

Provide feedback on the effectiveness of strategies and make recommendations for improvements.

**Problem Solving, Innovation & Operational Improvement**:
Analyse site-specific challenges and propose creative, actionable solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Monitor and improve quality of home installations.

Identify areas for improvement and work with teams to enhance installation processes.

Suggest and implement new ways of working that align with our goal of accelerating project timelines and improving service delivery.

**Proof-of-Concepts**:
Design and run proof-of-concepts (POCs) to test new methods, tools, and technologies that could enhance operational performance and enable us to go faster, shaping the future of connecting the next billion to super-fast affordable fiber internet.

Go-to-market Testing: test systems and tools before updates are launched. Test, analyse, provide feedback, adjust, and re-iterate to ensure an appropriate solution is implemented by business.

**Stakeholder Communication**:
Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, ensuring alignment across all stakeholders.

Ensure all stakeholders are informed and aligned with operational goals.

Develop and present training sessions or updates to contractors and service providers.

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including technical staff, project managers, and customer service teams, to ensure seamless project execution.

**Data Analysis**:
Generate regular reports on performance to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.

Ability to interpret large sets of data and utilize to support recommendations and track the impact of implemented solutions.

Review Contractor invoicing & ensure Quality Control: conduct weekly checks for qualifying homes and process contractor invoices.

**Qualifications**:

**Experience**:
Proficiency in MS Office: Advanced Excel skills necessary.

Proven project management track record with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

**Preferred Qualifications**:
Familiarity with Geographic Information System (GIS) software for mapping and analysing field data.

Communicate fluently in multiple South African languages (Sotho, Zulu, isiXhosa, Tswana).

Experience in Data Visualisation tools to present data-driven insights.
