**Senior ICT Auditor - 3 Months Contract**

We are looking for a Senior ICT Auditor for one of our clients (Municipality) for a 3 months contract. This role is ideal for a Consultant.

**SCOPE OF WORK**

**1. General IT Controls**
- System development life cycle controls
- Program change management controls.
- Physical security controls over the data centre.
- System and data backup and recovery controls.
- Computer operation controls.
- IT Governance
- Incident Response and Business Continuity Planning

**2. Application IT Controls**
- Input is accurate, complete, authorized and correct.
- Data is processed as intended at acceptable time period.
- Data stored is accurate and complete.
- Output are accurate and complete.
- "A" record is maintained.

**3. Cyber Security**

Cyber security is the practice of protecting systems, network and programs from digital attacks, these cyber-attacks are aimed at accessing, changing or destroying sensitive information, exploiting money from users or interrupting normal business processes.
- Network and Perimeter Security.
- Password Policy and Authentication (General Controls).
- Vulnerability Management - software and hardware.
- Backup and Disaster recovery (General Controls)
- Access control and Privilege Management (General Controls).
- Incident Response and Business Continuity Planning (General Controls).
- Compliance and Regulation (General Controls).
- End-user and mobile security.
- Cloud Security.
- Social Engineering and Employee education

**4. Other Requirements.**
- Transfer of skills to the Municipal Internal Audit Staff.

**Experience & Qualifications - Compulsory**
- +5 years IT Auditing experience in General Control review and Application Control review, and Cyber security.
- +2 years at Supervisor level.
- Degree in Information Technology, or Computer Science or equivalent;
- Certified Information System Auditor - CISA or Certified Information Security Manager - CISM
- Certified Information System Security Practitioner - CISSP
- Member of Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) and/or ISACA

**NB: Certified copies of the required professional qualifications and registration (certified not older than 06 months)**

Contract length: 3 months

**Education**:

- Bachelors (required)

**Experience**:

- Senior level IT Auditing in Public Sector: 7 years (required)
- drafting & presentation of Auditing Reports: 3 years (required)

License/Certification:

- CISA or CISM (required)
- Certified Information System Security Practitioner - CISSP (required)
- Member of Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) and/or ISACA (required)
