Minimum Skills and Knowledge Required:

- Standard 10 / Grade 12 or equivalent - Excellent understanding of warehouse management procedures. - Minimum of 3 years warehousing experience and 2 + years’ experience in leading a team - Good computer literacy - Ability to work overtime/ weekends in accordance with operational requirements

- Honest and hardworking - Good sense of urgency - Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal. - Strong decision-making skills - Excellent attention to detail skills

Brief Description of Key Performance Areas:

- Coach, manage and develop staff to optimise performance and meet targets and deadlines - Ensure that warehouse SOPs are adhered to - Oversee and assist with the receiving, dispatching and reverse logistics/returns at the branch - Communicate with staff on a regular basis to make them aware of priorities, targets, and operational requirements - Handle all KPI’s and assist with HR matters - To represent the company in a professional, enthusiastic, and positive manner and contribute to creating a good team atmosphere - Identify any systems improvements and drive through recommendations for change - Ensure efficient and effective use of warehouse space to include layout and future capacity requirements - Establish, monitor, and maintain high standards of security in the warehouse by setting security procedures - Liaise with customers, suppliers, and transport companies as and when required in a timely way and handle any concerns - Provide a safe working environment, adhering to Health and safety regulations - Oversee the showroom and ensure that merchandising SOPs are adhered - Keep up to date and respond accordingly to all enquiries - Ensure a clean and tidy working environment to aid operational efficiency
