- Must have an Agricultural Degree or Diploma in the field of agronomy and agricultural entomology
- A Commerce related degree/diploma would be advantageous
- An AVCASA certification would be ideal
- Advanced MS Office, especially excel skills will be required
- Sound understanding of Integrated Pest Management principles is essential
- Fair understanding of financial principles such as forecasting, budgeting and break-even analysis is important for this role
- Experience in the citrus industry or working with area-wide pest management programmes will be advantageous
- Must have a valid drivers license and be willing to travel
- Providing technical and sales support to the value chain
- Increasing market share and adding value through monitoring networks and infrastructure.
