**Job Summary**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports.
- Manage the general ledger and ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded.
- Perform reconciliations of accounts, including bank statements and intercompany accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies and provide explanations.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes.
- Assist with audits and liaise with external auditors.
- Provide financial analysis and support to management for decision-making purposes.
- Monitor cash flow and manage accounts payable and receivable.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional accounting certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a financial accounting role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in the retail or manufacturing industry is a plus.
