Our client, a well-known leader in its field based in Atlantis Cape Town is currently recruiting for a **Maintenance** **Fitter**

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Utilise tools and equipment to perform daily maintenance, repairs and installations in a manufacturing environment
- Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostics to identify issues on machinery
- Carry out preventative maintenance tasks to ensure the optimal functioning of machinery
- Liaise with Production Divisions, regarding job priorities and breakdowns
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations while performing maintenance tasks
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used
- Planning of routine jobs, unscheduled breakdowns, staff utilisation

**REQUIREMENTS**
- 4-5years proven work experience
- Siemens and PLC experience advantageous
- Specific knowledge and experience in the repair/replacement of the following
- Bearings, Water pumps, mechanical drives
- Must have knowledge of mechanical and electrical production machines
- Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
