**MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB**
- A Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that all operations on shift or within an area of responsibility are conducted in accordance with Company and Customer requirements. A significant feature of this role is the ability to effectively manage a team.

**Duties and Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Supervise operation / area of responsibility and assigned team**
? Oversee the operation or assigned area, as first line management, with a view to ensuring that team members perform all required tasks safely, accurately, and efficiently in furtherance of company and customer requirements, escalating non-conformances, and substandard performance where necessary.
? Monitor and report on site Productivity to ensure that all areas work productively and meet their daily targets.
? Ensure that a pre-shift meeting is done daily.
? Plan and secure daily Shift requirements whilst ensuring effective and efficient utilisation of resources.
? Monitor and track performance against targets and escalate any off-spec findings to management

**2. Ensure Compliance with Company and Customer Standards, including Safety and Quality**
? Ensure that processes and procedures required by the operation are performed in accordance to the Client and Company Quality and Safety Standards.
? Effect continuous process improvement to eliminate waste and improve efficiency.
? Ensure that all employees are properly training in accordance with standard operating procedures applicable within the operation.
? Drive the development of a safety culture within area of control and responsibility with a view to reinforcing safe work practices
? Monitor and report on adherence to Company and Customer standards with a view to improving compliance.

**3. Administration**
? Ensure that all administrative tasks that are required by scope of the role are completed accurate and timeously and are distributed to their intended recipient as required.

**Education/Requirements**:
? Grade 12 / with English fluency (spoken and written)
? NQF 5 qualification or studying towards same.
? 2 years working experience in a vehicle logistics management environment, 1 of which with leadership responsibilities.
? Must be results driven.
? Must be accurate and have attention to detail.
? Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
? Must be able to work overtime/weekends and shifts.
? Computer Literate in MS Office Applications, V-Motion and SAP.
? Must be pro-active.
