- This role is responsible for resolving and responding to Customer’s claims / deductions in a timely and professional manner. The general purpose of this role is to investigate, evaluate and conclude whether the customer claim is valid._
- Role and Responsibilities:_
- _Accurate and timely claims and deduction investigation within SLA turnaround time_
- _Responsible for maintaining overall deductions balance targets as required by the organization_
- _Ensure all rebate invoices are returned with the correct level of authorization and are paid against the correct rebate, with the appropriate supporting documentation._
- _Manually process claims (including collating back-up documentation)_
- _Follow-up with various departments to get supporting documents/ info for dispute/deductions resolution_
- _Escalation (to Collections) of invalid claims, that translate into collectable amounts_
- _Trigger approval workflows as per claim status and follow-up if necessary_
- _Send customer resolution communication along with necessary documentation to the AP team_
- _Complete weekly and monthly processes in line with audit requirements_
- _Maintain regular connect with Finance and Sales and other internal teams to resolve disputes and recovery of invalid claims. Challenge any potential discrepancies on information provided._
- _Support initiatives related to process and technology to drive best in class_
- _Ensure compliance to all financial controls, completing periodic audits and providing information as required to client and external auditors_
- Minimum qualifications_
- _Graduate, preferably a commerce graduate_
- _Flexibility to work overtime during month end or to clear backlog_
- _Fluent in English. Proficient oral and written communication skills._
- _Strong analytical skills and attention to detail_
- _Should come with experience in Disputes Management and must have overall OTC knowledge and understanding_
- _Ability to identify issues proactively and troubleshoot in a timely manner._
- _Excellent communication, influencing, interpersonal skills_
- _Experience in Microsoft suite including Outlook, Power Point and MS Teams; advanced Excel skills_
- _Customer centric mindset, ability to challenge status quo_
- Preferred qualifications_
- _SAP / MS Dynamics 365 experience preferred_
- _Exposure to consumer goods industry_
- _Understands digital concepts and can identify opportunities to drive efficiency and improvements._
- _Accounting skills including budgeting, forecasting and reconciliations_
- _Knowledge of different types of claims and deductions e.g.: OS&D (Overage, Shortage and Damage), Pricing, Coupon Deductions, Promo, etc._
