**SALES AND LOGISTICS COORDINATOR**

***Sales and Logistics Coordinator based at Broodsnyersplaas, Blinkpan, Mpumalanga, which is between Middelburg and Bethal on the R35, approximately 35km from Middelburg.

Working hours are normal office hours with additional ad-hoc availability as-and-when required.

**Listed below are the job specifications and requirements.**

**1 KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS**:
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager and working closely with the operations team, the Sales and Logistics Coordinator will be expected to perform the following functions:
**1.1 Core functions**
- Customer service and customer relationship management.
- Implement and manage the online ordering system.
- Planning and liaising with customers to understand their needs and ensure effective deliveries arrive on time.
- Liaise with transporters to ensure deliveries are on time and that there are no loading problems on site.
- Receiving, capturing and executing customer orders and manage orders through to delivery.
- Continuous liaison with transporter to optimise daily load planning.
- Working closely with the on-site operational team;
- Ad-hoc availability to support the 24/7 operations and customer requirements.

**1.2 Other day-to-day duties**
- Preparing and monitoring daily loading list based on customer orders;
- Capturing, reporting and monitoring of daily sales information;
- Place weekly train orders with TFR;
**Additional ad-hoc duties**
- Setting up and attending meetings with customers;
- Assist with day to day office activities and office supplies. Stationary, cleaning material, coffee, tea, etc.
- Cover other positions where required during leave etc.

**2 KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED**

**2.1 Educational Requirements / Related Experience**
- Grade 12
- Minimum 5 years experience in sales and/or logistics environment

**2.2 Skills Requirements**
- Proficiency in MS Office especially Word and Excel
- Proficiency in Sage
- Excellent interpersonal relations
- Excellent customer relations
- Fluency in English
- Ability to operate in a multicultural environment
- A valid drivers licence and passport
- Excellent computer literacy
