This individual will play a crucial role in meeting sales targets by increasing the impression and attraction of our products via our iStore retail stores.

**Qualifications**:

- Matric
- Degree/ diploma in Interior Decor/ Design

**Experience**:

- 3+ years relevant experience as a Visual Merchandiser in the retail industry.
- Strong conceptual & creative ability to put together settings in line with our brand. Brand affinity critical.
- The ability to interpret briefs and demonstrate creativity in generating creative concepts, as well as directing and coaching others.
- Good knowledge of company and merchandising policies and procedures in retail environment.
- Strong coaching, administrative skills, excellent product knowledge.
- Valid driver’s license with own reliable transport.
- Ideally technical knowledge of design software.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Ability to analyse sales merchandising reports.

**Key Performance Areas**:

- Define, design and implement a creative visual merchandising strategy by making use of a store planogram.
- Works closely with the team to plan and communicate display of products to maximum effect in line with the iStore brand look and feel for each category.
- Change displays to promote new product launches/integrations and discontinued lines, as well as monthly and seasonal themes, which include promotional revamps.
- Staying up to date with related trends to improve our in-store experience.
- Utilizing in-house reports to pull reports to check stock levels and arrival dates.
- Ensure merchandising standards are being maintained at branch levels.
- Brief staff on arranging displays.
- Ensure that iStore team members are trained to ensure high levels of performance & product knowledge.
- Updating manuals / training modules as well as running workshops where required.

**Please note this role will require travel on a national basis.
