**Responsibilities**
- Be the liaison between the factory and the senior management. (+-10 staff)
- Manage work flow daily in conjunction with MD
- Ensure job cards are filled out and completed
- Pump department competitive quoting
- Submission of Job Cards for invoicing when ready
- Vehicle fleet check daily +- 5 cars
- Manage quality control system **(ISO 9001)** from start to finish on each job
- Responsible for correctness, qty and condition of all goods received - Goods Receiving
- Ensure inventory levels of stock, parts required and consumables are monitored and get ordered or reordered when needed
- Ensure all factory rules inline with OHS **(ISO 18001)** regulation is applied
- Dealing with HR and related discipline issues in the factory
- Time Keeping
- Ensure general operating protocols are followed on the factory floor daily
- Ensure safety policies are followed by factory staff
- Ensure tool boxes are cleaned, checked daily.
- Ensure factory is kept neat and tidy and cleaned each evening
- Bring all disciplinary issues to attention of management
- Site visits may be required from time to time
- The position will require many other duties and responsibilities not listed above

**Experience, Qualifications & Qualities**
- 5-10 years experience in a factory or professional workshop environment in a **workshop controller or workshop manager position**:

- EXCELLENT COMMUNICATOR
- Matric certificate is a minimum
- Must have own vehicle and **valid drivers license**:

- Honest, reliable, excellent references required

**Salary**: Market & Experience Related
