**Job description**

**Key Performance Indicators**:

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Actively participate in the decision to bid process.
- Identify requirements of the bid in order to successfully plan and develop a winning strategy
- Liaise with clients & suppliers external to the organisation
- Produce realistic but economical project cost estimates within the required level of accuracy and to suit the client requirements
- Carry out estimation/ costing of tenders
- Compile high level tender project programme schedules
- Compile forecasted cash flow & schedule of Invoicing
- Attending tender clarification meetings ,site meetings, & related tender briefings/openings and reporting findings
- Prepare handover document pack for project handover meetings and assist with the handover procedure
- Maintaining tender database/OMS
- Research new tenders aligned with company scope of work and strategy i.e. tender scope, client etc.
- Carry out adjudications of suppliers, sub-contractors etc.
- Ensure that suppliers provide provide all technical data required in the tender
- Assist in compiling tender documents
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops
- Maintain and establish good working relations with Client's procurement officers
- Maintain & establish personal relationships with suppliers

**Minimum requirements**

**Experience**:

- Estimating experience in the power transmission & distribution construction environment
- Understanding of NEC,FIDIC,GCC and other Contract
- Good understanding of Microsoft office package i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Projects etc
- Good understanding of CCS

**Qualification**:

- Matric/Grade 12
- Extensive knowledge in CCS Candy
- Microsoft Office Skills
- QC Qualification - Advantageous
