**Junior Floor and Bar Manager**
**Responsibilities**
1. **Customer Service**: Assist in providing excellent customer service and ensure that all guests have a memorable and enjoyable experience. Address customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally.
2. **Staff Management**: Assist in overseeing and coordinate the activities of floor and bar staff during late-night shifts. Train, mentor, and motivate the team to deliver outstanding service and maintain a positive work environment.
3. **Inventory Control**: Assist in monitoring and manage bar inventory to prevent stockouts and wastage. Place orders for supplies in a timely manner to ensure a smooth operation.
4. **Mixology and Drink Knowledge**: Possess a deep understanding of mixology and bar operations. Collaborate with the bar staff to create innovative and enticing cocktails that align with the establishment's theme and target audience.
5. **Compliance and Safety**:Assist in enforcing all relevant laws and regulations related to alcohol service and patron age verification. Implement safety protocols to maintain a secure environment for both customers and staff.
6. **Financial Management**: Assist in managing daily cash handling procedures, monitor sales, and control expenses to maximize profitability and minimize loss.
7. **Marketing and Events**: Coordinate with the marketing team to plan and promote special events, to attract and retain customers during late-night hours.
8. **Ambiance and Atmosphere**: Ensure that the establishment's ambiance is consistently high-end and inviting. Pay attention to lighting, music, and overall decor to create a welcoming atmosphere.
9. **Conflict Resolution**: Address and manage any conflicts or difficult situations that may arise during late-night hours professionally and tactfully.
10. **Continuous Improvements**: Stay informed about industry trends, customer preferences, and new techniques in mixology and hospitality. Suggest and implement improvements to enhance the overall customer experience.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role in a high-end bar or restaurant environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of mixology, cocktail preparation, and bar operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work late-night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations pertaining to alcohol service.
- Proven leadership and team management abilities.
- Proficiency in PILOT point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to remain calm and make effective decisions in high-pressure situations.
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences.
- This individual will report to the General Manager and Operations Manager.
