**JOB OVERVIEW**

Branch Sales Manager: Financing & Lending is a middle management position in the business responsible for implementing the retail sales strategy in a branch by driving sales of secured and unsecured lending products to achieve revenue targets to ensure the achievement of iMasFinance’s objectives.

This role will also take full operational responsibility of the loan portfolio, compliance and assurance, market analysis, member relationship management and help identify new business opportunities.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND OUTPUTS**
- Provide input into the development of the Retail Sales strategy.
- Implement agreed sales plans to achieve revenue targets per product line and increase market share.
- Prepare and deliver budget proposals for new initiatives in support of retail sales developments.
- Maximize market penetration within current and new industries in line with the Retail Sales plans.
- In conjunction with Group Brand Ambassador develop and implement monthly sales plans.
- Continuously assess the market and explore opportunities to expand the distribution network by adding new partners / sites or exploring alternative channels. Submit recommendations to Head: Retails Sales.
- Implement identified channels to introduce iMasFinance products.
- Continuously provide feedback on product uptake to the Product and Market Development Heads.
- Identify and implement communication channels in partnership with Marketing and Market Development.
- Establish service points at Employer Partners in partnership with Group Brand Ambassadors (GBAs).
- Identify and recommend sale system enhancements.
- Establish and nurture relationships within current and new Employer Partners, in conjunction with the Market Development team, to fully understand their needs and requirements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align sales efforts to achieve Branch objectives. This includes providing feedback on product enhancements, industry pricing strategies, and member requirements, and implement remedial actions where required.
- Maintain and enhance stakeholder relations with Employer Partners.
- Pro-actively anticipate and report on industry changes providing insight on trends and risks areas, and recommend and implement remedial actions.
- Obtain, check, and refine information. Collate and submit Branch reports.
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of organizational standards, policies, and procedures within the department.
- Adhere to and ensure adherence to statutory regulations, organizational standards, policies, and procedures. Report non-compliance and implement corrective actions to ensure compliance.
- Provide input into annual budget planning process and submit to line management for approval.
- Monitor and allocate expenses. Assess expenditure and resolve gaps.
- Support identification, implementation, and development of processes to optimize cost efficiency.
- Accountable for Branch sales team’s performance through effective management within policies and procedures to ensure achievement of Branch objectives.
- Plan, schedule, coordinate and supervise subordinate activities to ensure goals are achieved.
- Participate in people development initiatives to ensure team performance required standards are met.
- Coach employees on lower levels to ensure knowledge transfer.
- Agree and implement own and sub-ordinates development plans.
- Manage EE profile and targets for the Branch in line with iMasFinance’s guidelines.

**MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS**

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma in Sales / Marketing or Business Management / Finance or related field (essential)
- Code C1 / Code 10 Drivers License (** **bus, minibus or goods vehicle).

Experience
- 5 years’ operational experience in Sales or Marketing in a financial institution (essential)
- 3 years Supervisory experience in Sales or Marketing in a financial institution. (essential)
