We at RCL FOODS are in search of a **Machine Minder - Handyman **to join our **Baking Division **in **Speciality**. The role will be based in **Worcester** and report to the **Millwright**. The purpose of this role is to maintain and operate processing line machinery to ensure optimum production and to maintain the condition of the machine(s). The successful incumebent will also be required to perform general maintenance onsite.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:
Operating machinery efficiently daily.

Start up and shutdown of equipment.

Safety inspection and reporting.

Assist with breakdowns and services on equipment.

Ensure machine related documentation are completed timeously and accurate.

Must comply with Food Safety Standards, and previous Food manufacturing experience will be an advantage.

Dissemble and assemble equipment between shifts for cleaning.

Diagnose and correct minor adjustments, and flag potential breakdowns.

Inspect, operate, and test machinery, equipment, to diagnose machine malfunctions.

Achieve desired shift production targets.

Monitor that power tools, hand tools and maintenance equipment are kept in good working condition and stored.

Perform duties as per requirements to eliminate down time or eliminate hazards / safety.

**Minimum Requirements**:
Matric / N3.

A first line Maintenance course or equivalent would be an added advantage.

3 years or more working in a Technical environment.

Strong Mechanical / Electrical hands-on experience.
