External Sales Representative

**Job description**:
Compass Glass is looking for an energetic & dependable External Sales Representative for our division based in Brackenfell.
**Purpose**:
Achieve maximum sales profitability, growth and market penetration by effectively selling the company’s products.
**Requirements**:
- 3+ years proven, related experience in sales
- Ability to lead & motivate team members
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Good verbal & written communication skills across all levels
- Self-motivation
- Initiative
- Matric, post matric qualification will be an advantage
- Own reliable transport
**Responsibilities (not inclusive)**:
- Establish, develop and maintain good business relationships and communication channels with existing customers in order to sell company products, with specific focus on the sale of manufacture to order and value-adding products.
- Develop and maintain technical knowledge of the company’s product offerings in order to provide customers with timeous, accurate information and advice on ordering.
- Understand production and distribution processes and systems to ensure accurate information is given to customers.
- Develop good working relationships with production and distribution to assist in and ensure excellent customer service.
- Find market solutions.
- Participate in the establishment of a system of communication involving sales reports, regular team meetings and feedback, in the drive for continuous performance improvement.
- Identify and resolve customer concerns speedily and effectively.
- Maintain historical records on customers and sales to assist in evaluation of trends, customer needs and alignment with business strategy.
- Handle customer complaints and returns as per company procedure.

- Customer and peer feedback
