The interns will participate in manufacturing and testing of the Duvha MV switchgears. They will also assist senior technicians in planning and conduction the customer’s FAT and SAT, ensure that the targets and customer satisfaction are always met. The interns must be willing to travel to customer’s sites and must be willing to work additional hours to speed up the work when required.

**Responsibilities and Roles**
- Learn how to read electrical diagrams.
- Learn how to use hand tools.
- Install and repairs electrical components and wiring.
- Components labelling.
- Perform design verifications in accordance to the engineering designs.
- Test electrical components for proper functionality.
- Address all defects and keep records.
- Learn basic QMS and control of records.
- Advise the project team of potential quality problems and propose solutions.
- Inspect the work done in accordance with the specifications.
- Witness tests and complete all relevant check sheets.
- Ensure proper housekeeping is followed and maintained at all times.
- Report all incidents to the Supervisor/Project Manager/ SHEQ Manager.

**Required Skills/abilities**
- Problem solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and wiring.
- Good at team work.

**Experience and Educational Qualifications**

National Diploma Electrical Engineering

0-1 Years Working Experience in Electrical Engineer
