**Job Title: Payroll Manager**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead and manage the payroll team, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
- Allocate tasks and responsibilities effectively within the payroll team to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.
- Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that aligns with our values.
- Support the professional development and career advancement of payroll team members. Empower the payroll team to handle payroll inquiries and issues, providing timely and accurate answers and assistance to clients.
- Oversee the full payroll cycle.
- Manage the implementation and maintenance of payroll systems and software, ensuring they meet the needs of the organization and comply with relevant regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Tax and Management Accountants, to streamline processes and ensure accurate and timely payroll data processing.
- Develop and maintain payroll procedures and policies to ensure consistency, efficiency, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements and lead the implementation of initiatives to optimize payroll operations.
- Grow the payroll book with the assistance of a business development team.
- Proficiency in payroll software such as Payspace and Simplepay.
- Experience in managing a team.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Effective time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- A strong passion for leveraging technology and software to enhance automation and work efficiency.

This is a **fulltime permanent position** based **in office** in **Somerset West.**

**Area**: Somerset West.

**Starting date**: As soon as possible.

**Salary**:R30 000-R35 000 CTC per month.
