Basic Salary, Car Allowance, Medical Aid, Commission (monthly) and a quarterly incentive bonus

We are recruiting for an experienced external sales person who will be based in Cape Town, reporting to the Branch Manager and you will be expected to market and sell the company''s respective products, whilst actively servicing and calling on existing customers base as well as growing the Cape Town region and surrounding by sourcing new business. The company is a manufacturer and sole distributer of famous brands in SA. We are looking for external sales experience - calling on distribution or supplier companies / businesses / wholesalers / retailers.

**Requirement / Criteria**:

- Matric/N3 educational qualification - essential
- Own vehicle and a valid drivers license - essential
- At least 3-5 years experience in external sales (distribution / suppliers / wholesalers type of clients)
- Able to speak and converse in Afrikaans (essential for the West Coast region clientele)
- A post-matric qualification in Sales and or Marketing will be an advantage
- Able and willing to travel (CBD / West Coast / Atlantic Seaboard)
- Good computer knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

**Key responsibilities**:

- Develop clear and effective written proposals/quotation for current and prospective customers
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints;
- Coordinate sales effort with the marketing, sales management, accounts and logistics departments to ensure excellent customer service;
- Set targets and develop strategies to achieve targets;
- Analyse the territory/markets potential and determines the value of existing and prospective customers value to the organization;
- Create and manages a customer value plan for existing customers highlighting profile, share and value opportunities;
- Supply management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities and potential for new products and services;
- Demonstrate products and services to existing/potential customers and assists them in selecting those best suited to their needs.
