A dynamic company is looking for an enthusiastic and results-driven External Sales Representative to join their Team in the Adhesive industry.

As an External Sales Representative, you will be responsible for promoting and selling their products to prospective clients and businesses.

Your primary focus will be on generating new leads, building strong customer relationships, and achieving sales targets.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth of the company in the fast-paced and evolving market.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Related Tertiary Certificate / Diploma
  • Own a reliable car and a valid driver's license.
  • At least 3 years of proven experience as an External Sales Representative in the adhesive or related field
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to establish rapport with clients.
  • A selfmotivated and proactive approach to generating leads and closing deals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced sales environment.
  • Willingness to travel within the designated sales territory.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identify and prospect potential clients, including commercial businesses, and contractors.
  • Generate leads through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and referrals.
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and stay updated with industry trends and competitors.
  • Present and demonstrate adhesive products to potential customers, highlighting the benefits and costsaving advantages.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales pitches and proposals tailored to meet clients' specific needs and requirements.
  • Negotiate and close sales deals, considering pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, concerns, and aftersales support promptly and professionally.
  • Regularly follow up with clients to gather feedback and identify opportunities for upselling and crossselling.
  • Set and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as determined by the company.
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate sales records, reports, and activity logs.
  • Present regular sales performance reports to the sales manager and contribute to sales forecasting.
  • Develop a deep understanding of adhesive products, and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement sales strategies and promotional campaigns.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth order processing, product availability, and timely deliveries.
