Job Opportunity: Graduate Credit Analyst

Location:Century City - Cape Town

Key Responsibilities:
Credit Scoring:

- Conduct financial analysis of businesses, identifying potential risks, evaluating capital structure, and performing relevant financial ratio analysis.
- Vet applicants through credit bureaus, contacting parties involved in the applicant's business operations, and gathering pertinent information.
- Input data into scoring models to facilitate the credit scoring process.

Credit Vetting:

- Compile comprehensive credit reports for review by the internal and external credit committees.
- Summarize the business, identify potential risks and red flags, provide an overview of operations, and comment on financial performance.
- Communicate with internal and external committees to acquire necessary information for decision-making.

Additional Responsibilities:
Competencies Required:

- Strong financial analysis skills.
- Proficiency in credit reporting and credit scoring.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Good administration and organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with sales employees.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
