**About us**:
Storm Distribution started out as a small family run company in 2011. We have very quickly grown to a team of dedicated core employees who all strive for one thing - giving the customer the best experience when purchasing a product sourced and distributed by Storm Distribution.

Our business was initially developed around the Coolaroo brand, leaders in the development of shade sail fabric. We have since grown exponentially and our list of brands now incorporates fencing, irrigation, pool products and more.

Our philosophy of offering the best quality product to the consumer has served us well as we have expanded our range to offer the likes of Cellfast, Rainbird and Microjet to retailers.

We have a dynamic team who are constantly looking to streamline our business and improve the way in which we operate, while finding new and exciting products to diversify our offering to the South African market.

Our strength lies in the relationships that we have built over time with the retail chains, who know that we are as concerned about their business and improving our operating efficiencies to them, as we are about our own business.

Storm Distribution has built up an impressive network of retail outlets to which we supply - the likes of Builders Warehouse, Leroy Merlin, Takealot and many other smaller nurseries and hardware stores.

If sourcing innovative, quality products is of importance to us, backing up our products with excellent customer service is our greatest measure of success. We are constantly striving for new ways to educate, inform and assist consumers in their purchase process.

**What we are looking for**:
We are seeking a creative and driven individual to join our fast-growing organisation. This role would entail your involvement in the end-to-end marketing function, including the design, development and execution of the marketing strategy and related marketing programmes. You will be required to drive brand awareness that supports the achievement of key business objectives.

Responsibilities would include the following:

- Developing and managing brand strategies for more than 12 brands. This includes our own brands that have been developed in-house as well as international brands that we distribute within South Africa.
- Involvement in developing the marketing budget and brand plan
- Development and implementation of POS for products in retail stores - this includes design and manufacture of the marketing materials
- Developing, designing and manufacturing packaging for new products
- Website: Developing, updating and maintaining 12 websites
- Images: Maintaining and updating the library with images for every product
- Design support for reps clothing, name badges, business cards, training material, give
- aways and catalogues
- Designing branding for company vehicles
- Updating supplier’s websites them with new products

**You will also need**:

- Strong attention to detail
- Creative and innovative thinking
- Excellent communication and copy writing skills
- Experience of working within a team
- Experience in the following software: o Adobe Illustrator o Adobe Photoshop o Adobe Indesign - experience in this package would be beneficial o Adobe Premiere Pro - experience in this package would be beneficial o Adobe PDF o Powerpoint o Excel
- A relevant four-year degree or diploma (marketing, advertising, commerce, graphic design or similar)
- You have 5+ years in marketing, advertising or brand management

**Salary and benefits**:
R25 000 - R35 000 monthly on a cost to company basis. This package includes the following benefits:

- An additional half day of leave taken each month over and above paid annual leave days
- Six paid doctor’s visits each year

**Schedule and location**:

- The role is full-time, on site and follows an 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday schedule.

**Salary**: R25,000.00 - R35,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Johannesburg, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Marketing: 5 years (required)
- Adobe Illustrator: 1 year (required)
