**Salary: R10,000 - R13,000 depending on experience and qualifications**

**Introduction**:
Carpenter / Furniture Restorer required for well-established Transport and Logistics Company. Must be a self-motivated individual who operates well under pressure and is willing to get things done.
- Knowledge of the methods of carpentry work.
- Skills in using tools to cut and join wooden materials.
- Ability to follow written instructions.
- Ability to follow oral instructions with little need for repetition.
- Ability to work under pressure.

**Qualifications and Accreditations**:

- Minimum qualification Grade 12 with the necessary working experience.
- Valid South African drivers licence, minimum code 8.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Restore furniture
- Gather material to be used.
- Paint mixing and colour matching.
- Measures and marks materials for cutting.
- Cuts and drills wood and other materials using hand and power tools.
- Joins materials with nails, screws or glue.
- Checks accuracy of work with levels, rulers and measuring tapes.
- Deadline driven with ability to carefully assess and streamline processes.
- Must be able to handle pressure and be willing to work extended hours if required.
