**Requirements**:

- At least 2-3 years F&B or Banqueting and Events Management / Coordinator experience in a 4 or 5 star environment (Essential)
- Knowledge of the highest level of F&B customer service in a luxury environment.
- 2 years Wedding / banqueting reservations and operations experience in a 4* or 5* Hotel.
- Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Outlook, Word and Excel and Sales and Catering
- Code E/ EB / 08 Motor vehicle license is required.
- Continued professional development relevant to the industry and position will be a requirement.
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
- Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
- Ability to work a switchboard
- Highly presentable
- Able to work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays
- Excellent command of the English language with solid verbal and written communication skills

- A Diploma in Hospitality.

**Description**:

- To arrange and follow through all events, functions, and weddings this will include:

- To sort out any issues and requests from the Restaurant, Events, Functions and or Wedding guests while on duty.
- To be available for all events, functions, and weddings
- To ensure that all requests/information and details confirmed by guests for the restaurant, events/functions and weddings are communicated correctly to relevant departments eg. i.e. to delegate responsibilities when there are conferences in the lodge. Make sure a person has been assigned to make coffee and tea and look after the guests and write the sign on the board puts water down for conferences and follows instructions on the schedule and To make sure that food goes out in time and well-presented and that guests are happy with their food.
- Greet customers upon arrival and their departure for the restaurant events, functions and weddings
- Assists in setting up and cleaning up as and when required for all events, functions and weddings
- You are the responsible person on shifts thus you need to address and resolves customer concerns and complaints related to the restaurant, events, functions and weddings
- Greet persons entering Lodge and identify his/her specific visit to the Lodge or at the restaurant and if needed check the guest in after hours or seat them at their restaurant table
- Dealing with payments owing to the restaurant
- To do weekly rosters in co ordinating with relevant HoD - kitchen/restaurant
- To ensure all information is captured and updated on function sheets and to send out function sheets timeously along with events sales manager
- Ensure knowledge of staff movements in and out of the Lodge. To check that all staff are on duty that should be on duty, follow policies like uniform, smoking, bag search etc.
