**Major Purpose**
- Uses various communication media to share function-related information with appropriate audiences (internal and/or external) ensuring audiences are aware of, understand, and know the impact of the information.

**Major Duties**
- Identify key communication channels in key geographies/markets and develop an effective marketing communication plan to support the various levels of the purchase funnel and ensure relevant business growth.
- Follow an omni-channel approach, develops and manages a variety of communication tools to ensure key messages reach appropriate audiences (internal/external).
- Develops strategic communication content that impacts the awareness, knowledge and understanding of the brand, products, services and solutions. Collaborate effectively with internal teams (tactical marketing planners, sales, aftermarket, CPS, JDF, Regional and Global marketing teams) in establishing content needs and solutions.
- Collaborate effectively with external service providers and industry experts in developing assets, content and engagement opportunities; such as videos, photos, Deere and industry events, creative designs, copy writing, PR, print, etc.
- Oversees tactical marketing and communication project plans and key milestones that are integral for the Africa Middle East unit to achieve and exceed business objectives.
- Drive, execute and manage deliverables within appropriate time frames and budgets and report on achievements, gaps and future opportunities.
- Maintain a professional relationship with and effectively manage external service provers and publication companies to ensure timely execution of contracts, purchase orders and payments and drive the best possible return on marketing investment.**Inherent Requirements**

**Education**
- Degree in a Communications/Journalism discipline or equivalent experience. University Degree (4 years or equivalent)

**Work Experience**
- Experience as a writer through lower level positions within organization, work as a journalist or writer, or work in marketing communications.
- 1 - 3 years- A broad background of business experience within or outside the Company.
- 1 - 3 years- Cross functional work exp in multiple areas, i.e., accounting, product eng, quality, manufacturing ops, warehousing/ distribution, production employee supervision, supply mgmt, marketing, HR, industrial eng, etc.Experience in three areas- Project management experience including plan development, budget management, team management, requirements gathering, delivery and deployment.
