Our client is an IT Hardware sales and rental company, seeking an IT Support Technician.

**Your role will involve configuring, setting up and supporting**:

- Desktops and Notebooks
- DSL Modems / Routers / 3G Routers
- Switches
- Projectors
- Setting up networks for printing and scanning
- Adding components to desktops and notebooks (Memory / HDD’s / PSU’s)
- Configuring IT hardware
- Installing Operating systems
- Downloading and installing drivers and software
- Troubleshooting hardware, components, and software errors
- Imaging Computers and Notebooks
- And a range of other tasks
- Answer all Help Desk calls
- Action I.T tickets coming into the helpdesk
- Open tickets and assign priority levels
- Provide basic support and troubleshooting, such as identifying power issues, OS problems, break/fix instructions, printer configuration, data queries
- Ticket routing and escalation to Level 2 and Level 3 support
- Arrange for swapouts and on-site repairs
- Manage and maintain the ticketing system

The role will be both internal and at client sites

**Experience**
- You should have at least 3 years IT hardware / networking experience
- Able to work after hours where required
- You are physically able to lift and move computer hardware and work standing up for extended periods
- Own transport would be beneficial
- Willing to travel to regional sites and stay overnight
- Server Experience would be advantageous
- Available immediately
