Our client a leader in the advertising agency currently seeks an experienced account manager
- The development of effective strategic and creative promotional plans and the development and management of supporting budgets.
- To effectively and efficiently manage all client accounts within your portfolio.
- To ensure that client request, enquiries etc are responded to timeously.
- To identify and recommend the best possible solutions in terms of implementation/end product.
- To coordinate and execute activities and tasks required to meet all promotional objectives
- Ensure that all promotions are implemented within promised time frames and to the best possible standards.
- To provide the Client Services Director with all the support necessary to assist her in meeting her respective objectives.

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES or KEY RESULT AREAS**
**The following areas of accountability are to be achieved by your Account Director with your assistance.**
- To actively contribute, support and influence digital strategies and implement tactics on behalf of the brand and ensure all digital efforts are supportive of the mainstream promotional plans
- Ensure that the digital teams are provided with adequate insight, information and detail to deliver a comprehensive and up
- to - date digital solution
- Ensure that you successfully implement client strategies and understand your client’s business enough to guide them with any and all advertising initiatives.
- To ensure that accurate briefs are taken, and that this brief are efficiently and effectively communicated to the relevant internal “output” departments and that the necessary action is taken within the best possible time frame.
- To ensure that client status reports are kept up to date at all times and that clients are kept appraised of the status of all their work
- To take clear instructions from the Client Services Director and action efficiently and effectively
- To take initiative where possible in terms of providing our clients with alternative solutions, new marketing opportunities, etc.
- To deliver, maintain and exceed customer service expectation in terms of the way in which enquiries are dealt with and the time frames in which they are responded to.
- To take full responsibility for each and every project and its final format
- To ensure that a cost estimate is issued and approved prior to any work being completed
- To ensure that the creative output result reflects the clients brief and our best interpretation of that brief as well as our best calibre of work.
- To ensure that all work is invoiced for timeously and that related administration is completed
- Identify opportunities for the division to up-sell and present this option to the client
- Keep cost of sales expenses to an absolute minimum.
- Manage client relations for all clients within your portfolio
- Where possible, ensure that our efforts are measurable and develop tools to measure the impact our efforts have on our client’s businesses and present those measures to our clients.
- Project management
- Relationship building with relevant local press representatives and distribution of media invitations and press releases
- Ensure reports are submitted timeously and that every possible opportunity is identified to improve on those reports and making marketing efforts more measurable.
- Ensure that the budget is managed carefully (and never exceeded without express permission) and that we have approval in writing before proceeding with any promotion
- Ensure all work is invoiced for when necessary and that all billings are kept up-to-date at all times
- Ensure that you time is effectively captured and that you manage your time sheets daily for submission and any time spent on the account is reflected and monthly reports and timesheets are submitted to your clients timeously.
- Careful following of company internal processes to ensure timeous delivery and ensure all relevant administrative actions are taken (CERF’s, SO’s, PO’s, IRF’s etc).
- Management of the production team from quality control to timeous delivery and installation/take down.
- To ensure that careful thought is given to each & every promotion and the implementation of such - from smaller details to the bigger picture and that the agency is well equipped and prepared for such,
- Coordination and on-site management of exhibitions, promotions and competitions,
- that client statuses are kept as up-to-date as possible at all times,
- Brief and manage all digital requirements for your clients in partnership with the Digital Administrator,
- Ensure all client deliveries are completed on time and when local is delivered in person.

**JOB-HOLDER ENTRY REQUIREMENT**

**Education**:

- Marketing degree or diploma is ideal but not essential

**Related Experience**:

- 3 years advertising or marketing experience in an advertising agency environment ( A MUST)
