Digital Marketing Coordinator

**PURPOSE OF THE ROLE**

Support the Group’s marketing strategy and operations by driving and optimizing digital marketing channels (i.e. website, newsletters, social media etc.) and successfully promote the Group’s technologies and solutions by increasing client engagement and lead generation through enhanced brand visibility and effective digital marketing initiatives.

**DUTIES INCLUDE**

**Social Media Management**
- Create, schedule, and publish engaging content across various social media platforms (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube).
- Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages, and engage with the online community.
- Develop and implement social media advertising campaigns to increase reach and engagement.

**Content Liaison**
- Work closely with the GMs and segment managers to support the development and execution of comprehensive digital and social media marketing campaigns, aligned with the overall business objectives.
- Liaise monthly with the different subsidiary teams to understand the monthly digital marketing needs.
- Generate creative and compelling written content for social media and blog posts.
- Stay up to date with product launches, campaigns, and promotions.
- Source relevant marketing materials from OEMs and localise where needed.
- Work with relevant parties to come up with proactive and creative content ideas.
- Have a good understanding and knowledge of SEO, SEM and WordPress. This person would be responsible for liaising with our agency/developer to ensure effective content management and website enhancements.

**Digital Marketing Support**
- Analyse digital marketing data and provide insights to optimise campaign performance.

**Community Building**

Foster and nurture online communities, encouraging user-generated content and interaction.

**REQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE**

**Qualifications / Experience**
- A degree or diploma in Digital Marketing, Social media marketing, or a related field.
- 1-3 Years’ experience in Social Media management, digital marketing or a similar role.

**Skills / Knowledge**
- Proficiency in social media platforms Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Must be comfortable and know their way around Google Analytics and WordPress.
- Knowledge of digital marketing concepts, SEO, and SEM.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative thinking and the ability to generate engaging content.

**Salary**: R27,000.00 - R32,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Century City, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Bachelors (required)

**Experience**:

- Social Media management, digital marketing: 3 years (required)
- Google Analytics and WordPress: 3 years (required)
- digital marketing concepts, SEO, and SEM.: 1 year (required)
