Sales Consultant

Working as a Sales Consultant at eGENTIC is dynamic. You will be accountable for driving key accounts, creating value and stronger customer connections. We’re looking for a Sales Consultant who’ll be responsible for New Client Acquisitions and Account Management. Based in South Africa, you will be part of the eGENTIC Sales Team in South Africa; so networking, contract negotiation and problem-solving must be in your DNA. Your success will reflect in sales achievements, long-term customer relationships and satisfaction that you build.
**Job Duties**
- Grow eGENTIC’s portfolio by selling and promoting our lead generation products.
- Build sales pipeline through various approaches such as market research, networking and cold calling.
- Work closely with South Africa Account Manager to maintain acquired sales accounts.
- Effectively manage diary to ensure most productive, optimized sales are secured and build great customer experience.
- Participate in trade shows, workshops and exhibitions as appropriate.
- To complete a weekly / monthly sales report, detailing activities and financial results in line with company standards, goals and targets.
- To negotiate lead rates in accordance with the needs of the customer and reflection on business sales goals.
- Manage revenue for new client base to ensure payments are received with agreed commercial terms.
- Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition.
**Job Requirements**
- Applicant must be self-employed.
- Applicant must have a good background in the local business, gained through work experience in the local country and be proficient in English and other local languages.
- At least 4 years of working experience in the related field.
- Must have a strong sales hunter background, with solid presentation and communication skills.
- Must be sociable and possess strong networking skills.
- Able to communicate and influence decision-makers.
- High levels of energy, persistence, drive as well as a sense of urgency.
- The ability to identify and define problems and make balanced and sound decisions.
- Result-oriented, meticulous, multi-task and self-motivated, strong work ethic and able to work under pressure independently and in a team.
- Be willing to commit **40 hours** per week.
- Applicant must have own cell phone and computer or laptop with WIFI.
- The role is based in South Africa (preferably in Johannesburg/ Capetown/Durban)
- Call Centre experience preferred
