**Minimum requirements for the role**:

- Must have a Bachelors degree or equivalent in Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics or Chemical Engineering
- 5-8 years experience in Procurement (Direct & Indirect Materials & Services) in the Agrochemical or Chemical industries in a multinational organization is essential
- Must have minimum 5 years experience in SAP, APO, SNP and iValua or eProcurement Systems
- In-depth knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, contract management, competitive bidding and market conditions are important for this role
- Minimum 5 years experience in supply strategy, cost analysis, planning, supplier management and fact-based negotiation skills will be required
- Must have a logical/analytical approach coupled with a high level of Excel experience/Finance methodologies to analyse spend data and generate savings business cases
- Must be willing to travel internationally
- Validating the volumes to produce, materials to procure and execution of plans, including the conversion of volume plans to value spend plans.
- Implementing inventory reduction and slow mover management actions in supply planning and returns to vendors.
- Managing levels of SC inventory averaging of $24m to $35m - optimization of spend and ordering cycles, MOQ, EOQ and safety stock risk management.
- Generating budget purchasing plan information based on budget sales volumes.
- Generating cost reduction projects to achieve YOY targeted savings and optimization.
- Implementing sourcing strategy across all procurement categories to leverage financial benefits on cost savings and cost avoidance.
- Driving organizational payment terms mandate, mitigating all advance payments such as Deposits, COD, Advance Payments and 50% Payments.
- Co-ordinating Supply Chain execution of agreed purchase plan in line with the S&OP plans and Customer Service requirements.
- Anticipating future supply constraints and developing options for their resolution.
- Aligning with the Supply Planner to understand and address significant changes in demand or supply and confirm sourcing viability for purchased materials.
- Coordinating the operational execution of the range management process for regional SKUs, ensuring both the efficient introduction and removal of products where appropriate for purchased items.
- Managing communication with internal customers with risks and opportunities identified in the planning and planning evaluation process.
- Ensuring full compliance of procurement activities within the DOA Policy, Financial Rules and Regulations, relevant to Organizational Directives.
- Ensuring the effective use of internal Standard Operating Procedures in Procurement, control of workflows, continuous business processes monitoring improvements in systems and processes.
- Managing and monitoring all transactional procurement including tendering processes, evaluation, contracting, contract management, legal considerations and payment conditions, contractors, performance evaluation and risk assessment.
- Implementing strategic supplier performance measurement with rigid SLAs driving value through the business.
- Ensuring timely preparation and implementation of procurement plans for projects by controlling processes, including receipt of requisitions, organization of Tenders RFQ, and RFP, receipt of quotations, bids and proposals, evaluation and negotiations of certain conditions of contracts.
- Preparing weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual procurement plans and progress reports as per business requirements.
- Procuring product and services based on assurance of supply, service, quality, cost, innovation and regulatory compliance for all materials (ASQCIR).
- Managing procurement savings projects for the local business unit.
- Providing strategic price inputs for predictive pricing, cascading key information related main materials purchased to all stakeholders.
- Ensuring effective lines of communication between the operating plants, tollers supply chain and the procurement team to ensure priority requirements, timely delivery of products using the most cost-effective alternative to support the overall business objective.
- Introducing process improvements in the supply chain and identify new vendors/ suppliers without jeopardizing quality and service delivery.
- Managing relationships with vendors, suppliers and contractors that facilitate smooth flow of materials services to Plants & Tollers.
- Driving Compliance & Governance with implementation of relevant contracts or SLA with vendors.
- Promoting a zero-tolerance for violations of procurement policies and procedures, Contracts Administration and Management.
- Monitoring and analysing contract performance against agreed benchmarks through agreed reporting mechanisms and advise projects on potential issues and recommend remedial actions.
