Our client, a prestigious turnkey engineering solutions company, focuses on steel fabrication for the Oil & Gas/Off-Shore Mining sector, seeks to employ a experienced and qualified Engineering Workshop Supervisor, with a solid background in steel fabrications, to join their dynamic and progressive technical

**KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION**

You must be able to work independently and accurately keep records and be proactive in your approach to ensuring the profitability of the company.
- You will have passed a recognised trade test as a Boilermaker, Pipe Fitter or Mechanical Fitter, coupled with 5 years experience working in the heavy engineering and steel fabrication sector, coupled with 4-5 years experience in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
- You will have notable experience supervising welding and fabrication production, as well as being able to maintain the highest level of quality.
- You will display expert problem solving skills, organisational skills and communication skills in order to effectively supervise artisans and related staff to bring fabrication projects to completion
- You will be well versed in machinery and equipment used during the production process and be up to speed on technology and trends to ensure the workshop is functioning efficiently and optimized
- You will be a motivator, mentor and have a hands on approach to supervision of several teams.
- You must have a valid driver’s licence, own car and a clear criminal and credit record
