Job Title: Mechanical EngineerLocation: [Company Location: Johannesburg

Key Responsibilities:

- **Design and Development**:

- Develop detailed mechanical designs and specifications for new products and systems.
- Create 3D models and technical drawings using CAD software.
- Conduct feasibility studies and simulations to evaluate design concepts.
- **Prototyping and Testing**:

- Build and test prototypes to validate design concepts.
- Analyze test data and refine designs to meet performance and safety standards.
- Develop and implement testing protocols and procedures.
- **Project Management**:

- Manage engineering projects from concept through production.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget.
- **Problem-Solving and Analysis**:

- Identify and resolve mechanical design issues.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- **Documentation and Compliance**:

- Prepare and maintain detailed documentation for designs, tests, and processes.
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Support the preparation of technical reports, user manuals, and other documentation.
- **Continuous Improvement**:

- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Propose and implement improvements to existing products and processes.
- Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback.

Qualifications:

- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- **Experience**: Minimum of [X] years of experience in mechanical design and engineering.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
