Senior Mechanical Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage mechanical design projects from concept to implementation, ensuring the timely and high-quality delivery of solutions.
- Perform detailed mechanical engineering calculations, simulations, and analyses to support product development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Electrical, Software, and Manufacturing Engineers, to integrate mechanical systems into complex products.
- Conduct feasibility studies and provide engineering solutions to design challenges.
- Review and approve engineering drawings and specifications, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Mentor and guide Junior Engineers, providing leadership and technical support.
- Continuously improve design processes and drive innovation within the team.
- Ensure that all projects comply with safety standards, quality assurance protocols, and cost constraints.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; a Masters Degree is a plus.
- Minimum years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a proven track record of leading design projects.
- Strong proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA) and FEA tools (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus).
- Experience in materials selection, thermal analysis, and mechanical testing.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and innovatively.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with a focus on leadership and mentoring.
- Knowledge of industry standards (e.g., ASME, ISO, ASTM) and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
