**Your Job**:

- Identifying and sourcing suitable land for Wind,Solar and battery storage development
- Negotiations with landowner on lease agreements
- Managing the complete Environmental permitting process
- Grid integration of greenfield projects
- Working with internal engineering team to produce optimized site layout designs
- Identifying & Partnering with EPC contractors to provide EPC service to projects
- Leading tender submission for private off take of electricity
- Leading REIPPPP submission
- Optimizing project delivery structure (splitting E, P and C activities if required)
- Working closely with the local grid team to support on negotiating sub-contracts for ASP3 / Contestable grid works
- Key point of contact for local equipment suppliers
- Managing the Economic Development scope of work for the projects

**Your profile**:

- A minimum of 3 years’ experience within solar business
- Proven Project management skills during origination and development stage in large scale solar or comparable projects
- Proven project development experience in South Africa, REIPPP would be an advantage
- Familiarity with the public tender processes within South Africa
- Understanding of the project and corporate structure of large scale renewable energy projects
- Understanding of South African energy market specifically offtaking possibilities
- Attentive to details as well as being able to understand the broader picture
- Self-driven and able to work flexibly with stakeholders from different cultures
- Experience with complex, multi-stakeholder projects
- Fluent in English. Additional languages would be an asset
