**Role purpose**:
The Product Owner loves to build products and has a natural curiosity about the technology stack required to deliver on it. She/he represents the business stakeholders and leads to understanding product use cases, business applicability, and impact thereof.
They play the role of being the voice of the customer guiding individual DevOps teams, and responsible for ensuring that the delivery team delivers high-quality products for customers and value to the business according to the vision, in a fast-paced, challenging, and creative environment.
He/she is responsible for coordinating day-to-day activities such as sprint planning, retrospectives, and other agile functions to ensure collaboration and effective delivery of user stories against commercial milestone objectives.
The Product owner works to Agile principles and will be responsible for the prioritization and delivery of the backlog of change initiatives for the products and features.

This position is in the Digital Lifestyle Services (DLS) team. DLS is a strategic innovation center for Vodacom Group. The department's focus is on providing Vodacom customers with premium entertainment. We pride ourselves in delivering first-to-market, world-class content solutions that provide our customers with a choice of content across all content genres.

**Your responsibilities will include**:
Define, prioritize and manage product backlog during the build and launch of Entertainment Hub.
Ensure compliance of the product with stakeholders in the organization.
Operate and maintain products by identifying faults and improvements to customer experience and prioritizing within the product backlog for delivery.
Work closely with cross-function divisions and designated partners to ensure the world-class experience is maintained within the product.
Design user experiences by leveraging industry best practices and toolsets.
Ability to construct and design customer journeys, wireframes, and prototypes.
Evaluating customer experiences using customer research methodologies as well as industry best practices that inform new product features and UX enhancements.
Maintain strategic alignment with the organization's digitalization strategy.

**Ideally you should possess the following**:
Matric/ Grade 12 is essential.
A commercial or technical degree or diploma.
5+ years of relevant experience in product management and product development.
Close attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously with mínimal supervision.
Collaborative working style. Must work well in a team environment.
In-Depth experience working within AGILE teams.
Experience in successfully Leading and mentoring agile / DevOps teams in Large multi-team environments.
Experience in agile methodologies, such as Scrum, Kanban, Extreme Programming (XP), Test Driven Design, and Behavioural Driven Design.
Experience in successful delivery against financial / resource constraints.
Experience in the use of analytics and AB / multivariate testing.
Experience with requirements definition and use case modeling.

Strong technical and commercial framework skills.
Experience defining market and product requirements.
High ownership to plan and deliver on the business requirements.
Good prioritization skills.
The ability to balance customer experience with business priorities.
Skills to work with and support cross-functional teams to communicate, influence, convince and deliver the strategy.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create compelling positioning/messaging strategies and present complex information clearly and concisely.
Demonstrated ability to think both strategically and tactically.
