General Manager

The General Manager oversees department managers and their staff, as well as the employees within the office. The general manager is also responsible for the well-being of the company’s financial growth and stability in terms of making profit or loss.
1. Managing the performance of Department Managers and their employees.
2. Sustaining current market position and growing market share for the business.
3. Creating business plans to support the company’s financial objectives.
4. Supporting sales teams, department managers and key account managers in retention of existing clients.
5. Defining long-term strategic goals and developing clear implementation plans.
6. Improving internal processes and ensuring employees work as a cohesive unit.
7. Anticipate internal and external client needs and develop proactive solutions.
8. Assist in budget preparation and expense management activities.
9. Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing programs and recommend improvements.
10. Develop strategies to improve overall quality and productivity.
11. Generate business, cost and employee reports to management.
12. Schedule regular team meetings to discuss business updates, issues and recommendations.
13. Respond to employee concerns in a timely manner.
14. Provide direction and guidance to employees in their assigned job duties.
15. Assist in employee recruitment, training, performance evaluation, promotion and termination activities.
16. Ensure that employees follow company policies and procedures.
17. Address customer inquiries promptly and professionally and ensure customer satisfaction.
18. Identify business opportunities with new and existing customers.
19. Oversee daily operations of the business unit or organization
20. Ensure the creation and implementation of a strategy designed to grow the business.
21. Coordinate the development of key performance goals for functions and direct reports.
22. Provide direct management of key functional managers and executives in the business unit.
23. Ensure the development of tactical programs to pursue targeted goals and objectives.
24. Ensure the overall delivery and quality of the unit's offerings to customers.
25. Engage in key or targeted customer activities.
26. Evaluate and decide upon key investments in equipment, infrastructure, and talent.
27. Communicate strategy and results to the unit's employees.
28. Report key results to Owners.
29. Engage with corporate officers in broader organizational strategic planning.
30. Strategic planning of Sales goals
31. Strategic planning and reporting of various departments: Sales, Customers Services, QA, Clients and retention,
32. Compliance preferably within the BPO environment
33. Senior Management experience within a BPO environment
34. Strategic problem solver who is able to optimize the business with the understanding of what is expected of each department.
35. Mobilize critical points of focus by implementing and following through on tasks.

1. Excellent verbal and written communication particularly in the management of staff, leading staff.
2. Solid presentation skills and ability to explain complex processes to an audience. 3. Expert in financial management and persistent business will to succeed.

6. Ability to enforce and maintain high standards, even under pressure.
